About

My mission is to empower other witches and to encourage people to use intuition in their craft. One of my main messages is “your witchcraft is valid.” There are a lot of people who try to tell others there are only a few right ways to be a witch. I say that’s BS.

I come from a non-traditional background. I identified as a witch far before I ever heard about Wicca or any other actual historical figures. The out-of-body experiences I had at young ages showed me a whole other world out there that’s made of energy and spirit. My other witchy childhood activities came naturally to me, including poppet magic, glamor, weather magic, faery workings, spirit communication, trance states, energy awareness, prophetic dreams, and psychic experiences.

After studying several religions as a teen, I concluded none of them fit me besides new age paganism and eclectic witchcraft. I attended pagan gatherings and learned the majority of my craft from workshops and rituals taught by elders, including Selena Fox, who runs the Pagan Spirit Gathering. I also read books such as When God Was a Woman, The Chalice and the Blade, Women Who Run With the Wolves, and The Spiral Dance.

After much magical practice, I began blogging on Patheos Pagan in July 2017. In 2018, I wrote Intuitive Witchcraft—the result of decades of personal study and practice. It was published in 2020 and followed up with Air Magic, published in 2021. Modern Witchcraft with the Greek Gods with Jason Mankey was published in 2022, and my most recent book, Inspiring Creativity Through Magick, came out in 2023.

I believe in equality for all people, charity work, and donating time and money to charitable/non-profit organizations. My favorite groups match my ethos of anti-racism, religious freedom, pro-LGTBQIA+ issues, and charities that assist victims of violence. It’s my hope that we can lift each other up, respect our individualities, and be compassionate about our differences.
